JasmyCoin (JASMY) is an ERC-20 utility token built on the Ethereum blockchain, designed to fuel the Jasmy ecosystem—a decentralized infrastructure specializing in secure personal data storage and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions. Launched in 2021, JASMY serves as the native medium of exchange and governance within Jasmy’s platform, which targets enterprises, developers, and individual users seeking to monetize or securely manage their data while complying with privacy regulations like GDPR. The project’s core innovation lies in its Personal Data Locker, a decentralized storage solution enabling users to store, share, and monetize data without relying on centralized intermediaries. This aligns with Japan’s growing emphasis on data sovereignty and the global shift toward decentralized identity management, positioning Jasmy as a critical player in the intersection of blockchain, IoT, and privacy-focused technologies. However, its reliance on Ethereum’s network—with its high gas fees and scalability constraints—introduces operational challenges that could limit mass adoption if not addressed through layer-2 solutions or alternative chains. Technologically, Jasmy’s architecture…
